Privacy Policy for Buildio

This Privacy Policy explains how Buildio ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Buildio mobile application and related services.

1) Accounts and Access

Buildio does not provide public self-registration. User accounts are created by an organization administrator and provided to users for access.

2) Information We Collect

Account information

• Username
• Email address
• Phone number
• First and last name
• Password (stored in hashed form; we do not store plaintext passwords)

Work and project data

• Work hours and time tracking data
• Reports and activity records
• Construction site and project information

Map data (no device location)

Buildio displays construction site locations on a map. These locations are predefined by the organization. The application does not access or collect your device's location.

Technical and diagnostic information

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Error logs and diagnostics needed to maintain reliability and security

3) How We Use Information

• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Provide time tracking and reporting features
• Provide construction site and project features (including map display)
• Maintain system security and reliability
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell personal data.

4) Data Sharing

We may share information only in the following cases:

• Within your organization/workspace (e.g., authorized administrators may view user and report data)
• With service providers required to operate the infrastructure (hosting, email delivery, etc.)
• For legal reasons (to comply with law or protect rights, security, and prevent misuse)

5) Permissions

Buildio requires internet access to communicate with our servers. Buildio does not request or use device location permissions for normal operation.

6) Data Security

Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Passwords are stored securely using hashing.

7) Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained while the organization account is active and as needed to provide the service. Users or administrators may request deletion by contacting us at info@codelvl.com. If your account is managed by an organization, requests may be handled through the organization administrator.

8) Children's Privacy

Buildio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
